As a child, Cory (owner of the GoodGuyHandyman Services company) constantly followed his dad around, learning how to do everything from rebuilding engines, fixing plugged drains and helping add decks and porches to their old farmhouse. He totally skipped the toy tool stage and went straight to the real tools. In fact, he built his first doghouse before he was 7 years old and had a solid appreciation for hard work even before that. Cory's work experience is built on what he learned at his father’s side.
Cory is a Veteran who proudly served in the United States Marine Corps (OohRah!), and learned aircraft electronics, worked as a heavy wheel mechanic and served anywhere else needed. Following the military, he turned to the Federal Government and worked with Boilers, Pipes, and general mechanical needs. Prior to starting his business, Cory has been involved in some remodeling of his own home, as well as helping his children and friends with their home repair needs. He also helps his church wherever he can.
The variety of experiences gives Cory a well-rounded grip of electrical, plumbing, building and fixing things to work well. He has a strong work ethic and believes in making sure that every dollar he charges for his work is shown in quality, workmanship and customer satisfaction.
